Text Data Import
ASSIST import module allows mass import of text data.
You can import:
- Ticker data
- Text data
Import Ticker data
To import ticker data you need to create a .txt file first.
The file must have the following format:
Subject Line
Description Line
<Empty Line>
Subject Line 2
Subtopic Line 2
Description Line
<Empty Line>
etc.
Then click on the Ticker button. In the pop-up window add the name.
Inside the next window, choose your .txt file.
After you will see the import management interface.
You can choose data type (it should be the same as you are using in the your data file):
After that, you have to choose element of the Scene (See Introduction to Scenes) for updating.
If you would like to replace all elements, enable this check-box:
Click on and the data will be successfully updated.
Import Text data
To import text data you need to create a .txt file first.
The file must have the following format:
Text 1
Text 2
etc.
Then click on the Simple text button. In the pop-up window add the name.
Inside the next window, choose your .txt file.
After you will see the import management interface.
You can choose data type (it should be the same as you are using in the your data file):
After that, you have to choose element of the Scene (See Introduction to Scenes) for updating.
If you would like to replace all elements, enable this check-box:
Click on and the data will be successfully updated.
Data update
After the successful import you will have tabs for each import.
Now, you can easily update elements. Just click on and add new data following the previous steps.
